Derived from the arabica bean and composed of a very fine grind with crushed/ground cardamon, Turkish coffee has become famous around the world for both its strong taste and high caffeine extraction in addition to the special preparation methods.
Roasting level– medium roast 210-220 degrees
Flavors that you should taste – bold and strong taste; Turkish coffee smells nut-like and it’s bitter with the cardamon aroma and a slight hint of saltines.
Best way to use
In a cezve-ibrik (a special small pot with a long handle made of copper) or in a small saucepan.
– for one cup of Turkish coffee combine one cup of water and two full teaspoons of coffee. Once the coffee comes to a boil, let the foam rise and take it off the heat right before it’s about to spill.
